Omega Red’s Stewart Page took part in the Prudential Ride London-Surrey 46. The ride comprises a spectacular 46-mile route on traffic-free roads, beginning at Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park in East London and following the same route as the Prudential Ride London-Surrey 100 for the first 27 miles before taking a new two-mile route, which then links up with the last 17 miles through London to the finish in The Mall.

Although he was a bit nervous at the start, Stewart says the ride through the closed streets of London was amazing and he managed to complete the 46 miles in 2.38 hours, averaging a speed of just over 17mph.

Stewart rode for the charity Cardiac Risk in the Young (CRY) raising an incredible £770 including a £200 donation from SSI Services.
